Hair Ch-Ch-Changes from Untamed Instinct!

When my uber-talented friend, Tanya Ramirez at Sweet 9, asked me to be her model for a hair contest she wanted to enter, I jumped at the chance! Not only is Tanya a fantastic hairdresser, she has amazing, out-of-this-world ideas about what can be done with tresses.Tanya’s inspiration was Los Angeles; she called her look “L.A. Woman.” She used these two pictures as references as she mapped out her hair game plan.

After hours in the chair (lifting, foiling, awesome screen printing and watercolor techniques… I was in awe the entire time!) we were chomping at the bit to see the finished result! Once I was blow dried and styled, I couldn’t believe it. Was this really my little ol’ head of hair??!

I adore everything about it, from the blue tips to the rainbow stripes!

I can’t get over it. For real!

I feel pretty special having this particular art work (and yes–it’s totally art!) on my head.

Psychedelic Alien Tie-dye, anyone??! I’m sensing a new style direction…
