When Kim comes to town, the camera comes out!

This time, we headed over to Melrose, where there is a cute new(ish) mural from Sand One. I’ve been having huge crushes on her work over the summer–super girly and graphic! Last Friday, Ben sent me this interview with her from LAist. I think I might even like her more, after reading it!

Kim had just had her cut by rock star Tanya Ramirez. She seriously can do no wrong! I’ve been steering my friends over to Tanya, because I am convinced she is a beauty sensei. She made Kim look like a swingin’ 60′s go-go girl. Twiggy, watch out!

(What do you think of Kim’s scarf? Would you believe me if I told you that she made it herself? Because she did! Super cute, right? She also made me a hat that I’m absolutely nuts for…but that’s another post!
