So happy I was asked to glitter up these three darlings for the Tiny Bangs lookbook! Their sweetness made my day. Also isn’t it funny how the world works? This particular collection was inspired by my longtime muse, Francesca Lia Block’s “Weetzie Bat”. What a thrill!

The bulk of this year has been working on this doozy of a project, A BOOK! A real read through, full color, page-turner. When Krista Suh, creator of the Pussyhat Project, told me she was gonna write a book and she wanted me to illustrate it, I had no idea what I was in for!
I painted the cover, but open this tome up, and you’ll find 30+ full color illustrations. She and I worked really hard to make this a complete, super helpful manifesto for creatives– it’ll help clarify your voice, scoot away the clutter, and give you the space to make what you’ve always dreamed of. There are excercises and tips galore. I couldn’t be more proud!
You can pre-order here, or find the title at Amazon. I’d love to know if you picked up your own copy!
One of my favorite things are maps– we used maps in our wedding, and they’re all around our home. I finally had the chance to create a map based on favorite places of my collaborator Krista Suh, and it’s gorgeous! I plan on using it when I go to New York City. You can download it here, for free!
Krista Suh, Idea Extraordinaire, dreamed up The 1oo Women and POC Author Project, and in fine form, made it a reality! She asked that folks join her in reading 100 books authored by women and POC. She asked me to create printable bookplates for download on her site.
Go there--they’re free! xo
I put together these looks for a special night of readings, sparkle, and music in Los Angeles, based on a summer evening.

I drew the design for the crew tees on the movie “Anything”. I loved being part of this project. We ended up going with the pink rose, BTW.
