I’m officially obsessed with those hair clips we all used to wear in the 90’s, and so I decided they would pair well with some bands. xo
I have the BEST time working on fliers for bands and music venues! This one was especially fun, as I got to use a palette I’m not normally dipping into. More bands! More fliers! More noise!
Sweet little flier I did for my friends over at Acerogami. This is a totally new color combo for me– so fun!
You know how when you friends create an online project that is so natural that you actually can’t figure out how they weren’t doing it ages ago because it is such a perfect fit? That’s what happened here. Kirsten Bosio and her little ones are pretty much fashion icons here in LA, and now they’re making kids clothes! Rejoice, for now the mini folks in your world can be dressed like a sparkling vintage jewel!
Oh, and I drew the logo– lots of spring-y colors and a Peggy Moffitt fringe.
Follow Tiny Bangs on their instagram now so you’ll have your fingers ready when their wares go up. I happened to get a sneak peek, and you’re gonna flip!
You could say that making band fliers was one of the ways I cut my teeth taking commissions in my teens and 20’s. Now, it’s still something I love and I can’t imagine not making them!
It was a lot of fun doing something spring-y, fresh, and a little alien for my friend at Acerogami in Pomona. I really wanted this piece to have “air” to it, and I think it feels just like a breath of freshness!
Yesterday I motored over to my punk AF friend Taleen Kali‘s studio so I could glitter her into an Intergalactic Rock n Roll Messiah for her show at Play Like A Girl later in the evening. Need someone to blast your mind? I dunno, I mean, are you even ready for this Cosmic Stardust Transformer?

I was pleasantly surprised when this poster popped up in my feed last week: “Hey,” I thought, “that handwriting looks just like mine!” And then my brain jogged into place and I remembered that I had indeed done the handwriting a few months ago! Ugh, so many projects. Anyway, the styling and design on this thrilled me and I can’t wait to see the film when it comes out (I’ll keep you posted!).Check out @hideawaythefilm on Instagram. Thank you for thinking of my art,Victoria Innocenzi!
My personal artwork was also featured in the film’s production design and those stills are killing me with their gorgeousness as well.
This year I’ve been playing around with more fliers, and this one was really fun! I was stoked to mess around with glitter, gem tones, and some awesome photography for Minibear, an artist in Los Angeles. I used to do music fliers A LOT in the early 2000’s, and found that my process has since changed. Instead of scissors, I use Photoshop. I used to think this is lazy, but now it’s really just efficient.
Do you make music or have an event coming up? Let’s do something together! Email me your ideas to email@example.com. xo
It’s been a long time coming– I made heart pill enamel pins! They’re absolutely perfect for flair on jean jackets, baseball caps, and tees.
I love these babies because they are near pill size– exactly one inch! They sparkle like nobody’s business because the color is coated in glitter. Each one is a perfect tiny replica of my Heart Pill Painting series.
There are a limited number of these, and they are available on pre-order here. Grab one now!
I holed up this weekend in the bedroom, lined up all of my pencils, and drew a portrait of Tulips, one of my favorite bands! It felt so good to light a candle and draw for hours on end. I made this flier for them for their big show at The Regent Theatre for The Prufrock Party. Its gonna be awesome– tons of readings– I love me some Melissa Broder!– and music galore.
Have you got an event coming up? I wanna make your flier! Hit me up at firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s do it!
I haven’t had the words to articulate how I feel about the SCOTUS/Hobby Lobby decision. So I made this instead.
When this word appeared in my life two weeks ago, I couldn’t get it out of my head.
A quaintrelle is the female equivilent of a dandy.
I want that word on me, always. So I painted it.
